VolunTourism of Central Florida, a Domestic Global Village of Habitat for Humanity Lake-Sumter will provide an opportunity for groups to spend time assisting in meaningful projects while spending additional days in the fun and sun of Florida!

Where will we stay?
Participants will enjoy restful accommodations in our spacious and newly remodeled VolunTourism Campus located in Eustis, Florida.
 
What can we expect at the VolunTourism Campus?
Visitors at our facility stay in climate-controlled accommodations and enjoy outdoor and indoor recreation such as Basketball, Volleyball, Ping-Pong and table games. Our campus also offers free Wi-Fi, T.V./Media room, and computer workstations. Bunk-style beds are provided in the 10 sleeping rooms. The bathhouses feature private shower and changing areas. The facility is accessible to those with disabilities.
 
How many days will we work and how many will we be able to tour?
There are many volunteer models to choose from for your VolunTour Vacation:

3 Days Volunteering/3 Days Touring
4 Days Volunteering/2 Days Touring
5 Days Volunteering/1 Day Touring

Other Packages can be pre-arranged with proper notice. Group packages are sold in blocks of 10. Prices depend on the volunteer package.
 
What can we expect on our workdays?
Volunteer days will be filled with activities designed to improve lives and solve community problems. Building homes, helping at community shelters, painting a nursing home, serving meals, and making emergency kits are just a sampling of the projects which groups may be completing during their stay.
 
What can we expect on our tourism days?
Tourism days may be spent at one of the many theme parks, visiting Daytona International Speedway, canoeing down a scenic river, taking a guided manatee tour, sunning on a beautiful beach, golfing at one of our beautiful courses, shopping, or sight-seeing. Central Florida has much to offer, and groups will have plenty of exciting choices for tourism days!
